The 36" Commercial Premium Grill occupies a specific position in the Videl lineup: it is the grill that adds the one feature neither the 36" Videl Series nor the Gran Fuego 42 includes -- a built-in commercial gas timer. For anyone building an outdoor kitchen for rental use, hospitality, or any setting where timed, unattended cooking is part of the workflow, that timer changes the practical profile of the grill entirely. Set it, walk away, and the gas shuts off automatically when the session ends. For a short-term rental property, a commercial patio, or a backyard kitchen used by guests who may not be familiar with the grill, that capability is not a convenience feature -- it is a safety and liability consideration.

 

The grill itself is built on the same 36-inch, 304 stainless steel platform as the 36" Videl Series. Three Cast Stainless Steel Onyx Pro Burners cover the 653 square inch primary cooking surface and deliver 57,000 BTU -- appropriately scaled for three-burner operation and the cooking volumes a 36-inch grill is designed for. The same HeatWave Chamber system provides even heat distribution across the full cooking surface. Flame Tamers and Flavor Bars below the cooking grates manage drippings, distribute heat, and vaporize fat into the food for enhanced flavor. The full-width drip tray spans the interior for clean grease management.

 

The double-lined natural convection hood circulates heat continuously and eliminates hot and cold spots, functioning as a convection cooking chamber when closed for indirect work. CoolTouch Knobs and CoolGrip Handle keep the cook comfortable at temperature. The Quick Release Panel on the front provides maintenance access without island disassembly. The premium hood thermometer reads the interior temperature accurately. The commercial timer is built into the grill's control panel -- not an aftermarket add-on -- making it part of the integrated control layout.

 

Notable differences from the 36" Videl Series: the commercial model uses three burners rather than four, produces 57,000 BTU rather than 76,000, does not include interior lights, and adds the built-in commercial timer as the defining upgrade. The cutout dimensions are identical between both 36-inch models, making this a direct substitution in any island designed around the VG-4B36 cutout without modification.

 

The grill ships ready for Natural Gas. A gas conversion kit is included for Liquid Propane. All gas connections must be made by a licensed gas professional in accordance with local codes and ANSI Z223.1 / NFPA 54. Natural gas supply must be set to 4.0 inches water column; LP to 11 inches water column. Certified to ANSI STD Z21.58-2022 / CSA STD 1.6-2022. Made in the USA. The outdoor kitchen cavity must be adequately vented -- failure to vent can result in fire or explosion. All gas connections must be made by a licensed gas professional. Never use this grill in enclosed areas. Natural Gas: use the supplied NG regulator set to 4.0" water column. Liquid Propane: use an LP regulator set to 11" water column. Perform a soapy water leak test before each use -- never use an open flame to check for gas leaks. Installation must comply with local codes and ANSI Z223.1 / NFPA 54.
