The GDI-8023-01 is a 3-person outdoor hybrid sauna that combines a powerful 8.0 kW traditional stove with a full spectrum infrared system, giving you the complete sauna experience in one beautifully crafted structure. Whether you want the deep, room-filling heat of a traditional steam sauna or the gentle, penetrating warmth of near zero EMF infrared therapy, the Carinthia delivers both -- on demand, in your own backyard.

 

This is the new 2026 flat-roof model -- a significant redesign from the previous generation. The updated flat roof profile gives the Carinthia a cleaner, more contemporary silhouette that pairs with modern outdoor spaces. The structure is crafted from 100% Natural Reforested Canadian Hemlock with a waterproof stain on the exterior, making it durable, weather-resistant, and genuinely beautiful year-round.

 

Inside, the Carinthia goes well beyond four walls and a heater. The interior chromotherapy color lighting system cycles through a spectrum of colors shown to support mood and relaxation, and the dedicated red light therapy feature adds a clinically recognized wellness modality that complements both heat modes. The interior LED control panel includes a built-in FM radio, Bluetooth connectivity, and integrated performance speakers -- so you can stream music, podcasts, or silence, whatever sets the tone for your session. Interior backrests with accent lighting and exterior front overhang accent lighting finish the experience with a resort-quality aesthetic that looks as good from the outside as it feels from within.

 

The hybrid heating system is where the Carinthia truly stands apart. The Full Spectrum IR system uses 8 emitters -- 2 Carbon PureTech Near Zero EMF heating panels paired with 6 near infrared heating elements -- to deliver far, mid, and near infrared wavelengths simultaneously. Full spectrum infrared is widely regarded as the most therapeutically complete form of infrared heat, with the near infrared component providing deeper tissue penetration than far infrared alone. The 8.0 kW traditional stove takes the room to 170-190 degrees Fahrenheit and produces the authentic steam sauna experience, including the ability to pour water over stones for humidity and the aromatic ritual of a classic session.

 

The traditional stove works in any outdoor temperature. The full spectrum infrared system is recommended when the exterior temperature is 45 degrees Fahrenheit or warmer.
