Description

Concrete is heavy, requires curing, and does not move without equipment. The HPC Fire Aluminum Spun Bowl gives the design exactly what concrete-look fire bowls deliver visually -- the modern, matte, elemental look of a concrete or natural wood vessel -- without any of the weight, handling difficulty, or installation constraints that come with the real material. The bowl is spun from 5052 aluminum, the alloy chosen by engineers who need a material that is simultaneously lightweight, corrosion resistant, and structurally precise, and finished with a powder coat in your choice of two finishes: Concrete, which resembles real concrete without any of the hassle, or Walnut, which offers a warmer, wood-toned aesthetic for settings that call for something less industrial. Both finishes are weather-proof powder coat. Neither requires the ongoing maintenance that natural materials demand.

At 35 inches in diameter and 14.5 inches tall, the bowl is sized for a standard seating group, with a rim height and flame position that works at ground level, on a column, or recessed into a table or outdoor kitchen surround. The ventilation is engineered into the structure of the bowl itself -- not an afterthought, but a purpose-built airflow system designed to cool both the internal ignition components and the outside shell of the bowl during operation. The lip pan separates from the bowl easily for simplified access during maintenance, gas connection work, or fire media management without disturbing the bowl's placement. A precut hole at the base routes the gas line through the bottom of the bowl for a clean installation.

Three ignition levels are available. The Match Lit version delivers 65,000 BTU with key valve ignition -- no electronics, no batteries, no power source required. The Electronic Ignition On/Off version delivers 125,000 BTU with the standard burner or 140,000 BTU with the Torpedo burner upgrade, on 120VAC or 24VAC, with one-touch operation and continuous flame sensing. The Electronic Ignition Hi/Lo version delivers the same output with variable flame height control via the HPC Bluetooth app, controllable from a phone or tablet without a separate remote. The Torpedo burner upgrade -- which applies HPC's patented nozzle technology to compress gas flow and introduce oxygen at the nozzle ports for taller, fuller flames -- is available as an upgrade on all three ignition configurations and produces its BTU advantage on the EI configurations. Both fuel types (Natural Gas and Liquid Propane) and both power configurations (120VAC and 24VAC) are available by SKU modifier. INSTALLATION NOTE: Place the bowl on a level surface. Do not block the precut ventilation openings along the bottom ring of the bowl. The gas supply line routes through the precut hole at the base of the bowl. Natural gas minimum supply pressure: 3.5 in W.C., maximum 7.0 in W.C. Liquid propane minimum supply pressure: 8.0 in W.C., maximum 11.0 in W.C. All gas connections must be made by a certified gas technician. All AC electrical connections must be made by a certified electrician. Fire rock must be placed directly on the burner surface first; do not cover burner orifices. Fire glass is placed over and around the fire rock after. For Hi/Lo Bluetooth app control, download the HPC Fire app on iOS or Android and pair via Bluetooth.
