Description

Agni is named for the Hindu god of fire, and the name fits. The HPC Fire Agni Round Metal Fire Pit is not a bowl with a surface burner dropped in -- it is a fully assembled, CSA-certified, commercial-grade fire pit in a precision-formed all-metal enclosure, built around HPC's patented Penta Torpedo burner and ready to produce serious BTU output the moment it connects to gas. The Agni is available in two diameters -- 48 inches and 60 inches -- each sharing the same construction quality, ignition options, and powder coat color choices, sized to match the scale of the seating group and the outdoor space around them.

 

The round format draws people in from every direction equally, and the Penta Torpedo burner does its job from every seat. HPC's patented Torpedo nozzle design compresses gas flow and introduces oxygen at the nozzle ports, producing taller, fuller flames than a standard round burner of equivalent size. The five-spoke Penta configuration -- the TOR-PENTA18 in the 48-inch model and the TOR-PENTA30 in the 60-inch -- distributes flame across the full burning area in a pattern that mimics the natural spread of a wood fire. With the Electronic Ignition configurations, the 48-inch Torpedo delivers 140,000 BTU and the 60-inch Torpedo delivers 225,000 BTU. That is not a small number. A 60-inch Agni with Electronic Ignition and the Torpedo burner is producing more heat output than most fire pit configurations in this format class by a significant margin.

 

Both sizes share the same enclosure profile: .060 mild steel welded into a circular vessel 18 inches tall, finished with a weather-proof powder coat in your choice of five colors: Black, Gray, Java, Pewter, or Silver Vein. The 48-inch model carries a 24-inch burning area and weighs 110 lbs. The 60-inch model carries a 30-inch burning area and weighs 130 lbs. Both sit on 16-inch legs that position the flame at the right height for standard outdoor seating -- visible above the rim, present without being overwhelming. Both are CSA-certified for outdoor use in residential and commercial applications, and both ship with fire rock and fire glass included.

 

Three ignition configurations are available for each size. The Match Lit version delivers 65,000 BTU with key valve ignition -- no electronics, no power source, no dependencies. The Electronic Ignition On/Off version delivers 140,000 BTU (48-inch) or 225,000 BTU (60-inch) with Torpedo burner, one-touch on/off operation, and automatic gas shutoff if the flame is extinguished. The Electronic Ignition Hi/Lo version delivers the same output with remote-controlled variable flame height -- the configuration for projects where adjustability and wireless operation matter. INSTALLATION NOTE: Venting along the bottom circumference of the enclosure must remain clear of debris and finishing material at all times. Natural gas supply pressure: minimum 3.5 in W.C., maximum 7.0 in W.C. Liquid propane supply pressure: minimum 8.0 in W.C., maximum 11.0 in W.C. Do not use a burner rated for greater than 125,000 BTU with a 20-pound propane tank. A certified gas technician must make all gas connections. A certified electrician must install all AC electrical connections for EI models. The enclosure is pre-cut for MLFPK valve installation. For EI models, the valve box mounts inside the enclosure per the installation instructions. Place fire rock directly on the burner surface first; do not cover burner orifices. Place fire glass over and around the fire rock after. The fire pit must be installed on a level surface. Do not block precut ventilation openings.
