The 311-ESTOP-3 is a push-button emergency shut-off device designed specifically for commercial applications of HPC's Evolution 360 and Electronic Ignition (EI / HWI) fire pit systems. It is installed on the 120VAC or 24VAC electrical line and, when activated, immediately stops the flow of current to the burner -- shutting down up to 3 separate circuits plus one additional fail-safe function simultaneously. The result is a complete, near-instant shutdown of the fire feature with a single button press.

 

What makes the 311-ESTOP-3 suited for commercial environments specifically is the keyed reset. Once the push button is activated, the system does not restart on its own and cannot be restarted by simply pressing the button again. A physical key is required to release and reset the switch, which means a supervisor, manager, or authorized staff member must be physically present and deliberately restart the system. In a hotel courtyard, a rooftop lounge, or a restaurant patio where the fire feature is in a public area, this is not just a convenience -- it is a meaningful operational safety control.

 

The device is housed in a rugged, compact enclosure rated IP65 -- fully protected against dust ingress and low-pressure water spray from any direction, making it suitable for permanent outdoor installation in rain-exposed locations. It measures 2.8 by 2.8 by 4 inches and is rated for 600VA at 10A, handling the electrical load of commercial fire pit applications without issue.
