The Leisurecraft SaunaGlo LED Light Bar is a purpose-built sauna lighting system engineered from the ground up to perform inside a high-heat, high-humidity sauna environment -- not converted from a residential or commercial fixture, not adapted after the fact, but designed specifically for the conditions that sauna interiors create and the standards that Leisurecraft saunas are built to. Most general-purpose LED products fail in a sauna because the heat and moisture exceed what the components were ever intended to handle. The SaunaGlo is rated to 120 degrees Celsius (248 degrees Fahrenheit) and does not flicker, dim, or fail at operating sauna temperatures, which means you install it once and it works every session without adjustment.

The light output is warm and even -- the kind of ambient glow that makes a cedar interior feel like a spa rather than a utility room, without the harsh brightness of a standard overhead fixture. Brightness is fully adjustable via a cedar-mounted wall remote controller, so you can dial from a low, atmospheric glow to a brighter working light depending on what the session calls for. The controller syncs to the light bar wirelessly and mounts cleanly to the cedar wall without requiring in-wall wiring for the control surface itself.

The SaunaGlo comes in two lengths. The 43-inch bar is sized for smaller saunas -- barrel designs, pod saunas, and compact cabin installations where a single well-placed bar covers the interior efficiently and sits in proportion to the space. The 72-inch bar is designed for larger and custom-built saunas where a longer run of light provides wider, more even coverage across a full bench length or back wall. Both bars install in the same way, in the same mounting positions, using the same 110V power supply and 12V LED driver system, and both carry the same 2-year warranty.

The batten profile is low-profile and clean, sitting flush against the cedar surface and blending into the wood rather than drawing attention to itself. Mounting is flexible -- horizontal runs under a bench backrest or along a ceiling line, or vertical runs on a side wall -- giving you placement options that work with the specific geometry of your sauna interior. If you want to soften the glow further, Leisurecraft's optional cedar light shades are designed to diffuse the output and are available separately.

CONTROLLER SYNCHRONIZATION PROCEDURE:

If the controller loses sync with the light bar, follow these steps: (1) Unplug the power supply. (2) Wait at least 20 seconds for the supply voltage to discharge. (3) Plug the power supply back in. (4) Within 10 seconds of plugging it in, press the next button on the remote control once briefly. (5) The LED indicator on the light will flash green to confirm sync. (6) After a short period the flashing LED will turn to a steady green. The light will now only respond to this controller. Repeat this process at any time to re-sync.
