The Remi Fire Bowl is the fire-only version of The Outdoor Plus's Remi series -- the same 31-inch round, hand-hammered copper vessel as the Remi Fire & Water Bowl, stripped of the water infrastructure and focused entirely on what a copper fire bowl should do: hold a flame, look exceptional, and develop character over time. No scupper, no spillway, no water pump connection required. Just the bowl, the pan, the burner, and the lava rock, connected to gas and ready to run.

 

There is a reason The Outdoor Plus describes the Remi as a great accent piece for outdoor space rather than positioning it as a technical feature. The bowl itself is the point. It is 31 inches in diameter and 11 inches tall, hand-hammered from high-quality raw copper at The Outdoor Plus's facility in Ontario, California. The hammered surface catches light differently at every angle, carries subtle variations in texture from the handwork, and begins the patina process the moment it is installed outdoors. The Outdoor Plus is explicit about this: due to copper's natural properties and surrounding environment, the copper material will change its color into a blue/green hue over time when exposed to the various natural elements. That patina -- the same process that gives historic copper roofs and architectural elements their characteristic blue-green tone -- is part of what makes an aged copper fire bowl look like it belongs to a space rather than something placed in it. For buyers who prefer a more uniform surface, a smooth patina finish is available upon request in place of the standard hammered texture.

 

The fire system uses a 10-inch 304 stainless steel burner on a 304 stainless steel pan with a standard 2-inch depth, producing 45,000 BTU on both the Match Lit and 12V Electronic Ignition configurations. The 12V EI system is CSA certified per ANSI Z21.97-2017 / CSA 2.41-2017 and adds a pilot igniter for one-touch operation. Both configurations are available in Natural Gas or Liquid Propane. The key valve installation is an optional add-on on the Remi Fire Bowl (OPT-KVI suffix) -- unlike the Remi Fire & Water Bowl, which includes the key valve standard in both ignition kits. Drain holes are incorporated into the bowl to prevent water accumulation inside the vessel when not in use.
