Description

The Amina is The Outdoor Plus's rectangular steel fire pit in a powder coat finish -- a clean, long-format fire feature available in three lengths (48, 60, and 72 inches) at a consistent 24-inch width and 15-inch height. All three sizes run at 40,000 BTU/hr from a 304 stainless steel burner certified to ANSI Z21.97-2017 / CSA 2.41-2017, and all are available in liquid propane or natural gas with five ignition configurations ranging from match-lit to plug-and-play electronic ignition.

 

The shell is steel with a powder coat finish in your choice of seven colors: Black, Copper Vein, Java, Pewter, Silver Vein, Smooth Gray, and White. The pan is 304 stainless steel with a standard 1-inch flange and drain holes, and the pan interior length scales with the overall length of the fire pit -- 30 inches on the 48-inch model, 42 inches on the 60-inch model, and 54 inches on the 72-inch model. Every configuration uses a 304 stainless steel burner with a 2-inch pan depth.

 

The 72-inch Amina extends the format into territory where most rectangular fire pits stop -- a 72-inch run of flame anchors large outdoor seating arrangements in a way that a shorter fire feature cannot, providing warmth and visual presence across an extended perimeter. The 48-inch configuration fits tighter spaces and smaller seating groups with the same material quality and output.

 

Five ignition configurations are available. The base unit is match-lit. The 110V electronic plug-and-play configuration (E110 suffix on the SKU) is The Outdoor Plus's turnkey electronic option and includes the electronic valve and pilot igniter in addition to the standard pan-and-burner package. Match-lit with flame sense (LC certified), flame sense with spark ignition (LC certified), and low-voltage electronic ignition (CSA certified) are also available. Available in liquid propane or natural gas -- LP and NG are not interchangeable; select fuel type at time of order.

 

The Amina is listed as patent pending. Each piece is handmade and slight variations in color and texture may occur -- photos may not precisely match the selected color. Physical samples are available on request.

 

All gas line work must be performed by a licensed gas professional. Do not operate the unit with a cover on -- doing so voids the warranty. If a cover is used when the fire feature is not in use, it must be a breathable material.

IGNITION TYPES EXPLAINED:

Five ignition configurations are available for the Amina Powder Coated Fire Pit, across both liquid propane and natural gas.

 

The match-lit configuration is the base unit. A key valve controls gas flow and the flame is lit manually at the burner with a match or lighter. No electricity required. It is the simplest installation and the configuration with no electrical dependencies.

 

The match-lit with flame sense configuration (LC certified) adds a flame-sensing safety function to the standard match-lit system. The burner is still lit manually, but if the flame extinguishes unexpectedly, the flame sense component shuts off gas flow automatically.

 

The flame sense with spark ignition configuration (LC certified) adds auto-spark ignition to the flame sense shutoff -- no match or lighter needed to light the burner. If the burner fails to light or the flame is extinguished, gas flow shuts off automatically.

 

The plug-and-play electronic ignition (CSA certified; E110 models) is The Outdoor Plus's 110V turnkey electronic option. The ignition system plugs into a standard outdoor GFCI outlet. No low-voltage wiring or transformer required. This configuration is not recommended for installations near water -- select the low-voltage option for poolside use. The E110 suffix appears on the SKU for this configuration.

 

The low-voltage electronic ignition (CSA certified) operates on 12V DC and is designed for integration with home automation systems, wall switches, timers, and pool or spa controllers. This is the correct configuration for any poolside installation or any setup where the Amina will be controlled remotely as part of a broader outdoor electrical system. All low-voltage wiring must be connected by a licensed electrician.
