Not every outdoor kitchen is built around a 42-inch grill, and not every cook needs five burners. The Videl 36" Videl Series is built for the outdoor kitchen where the footprint matters, where the island is sized for two to four people rather than a crowd, and where the priority is a grill that performs at the level the rest of the outdoor kitchen deserves. At 36 inches wide with four Cast Stainless Steel Onyx Pro Burners and 76,000 BTU, it delivers the same 304 stainless steel construction, the same HeatWave Chamber, the same CoolTouch Knobs and CoolGrip Handle, and the same Storm Guard resilience as Videl's larger Gran Fuego 42 -- in a footprint that drops six inches from the width and integrates cleanly into a 32.5-inch cutout.

 

The four Cast Stainless Steel Onyx Pro Burners cover the full 653 square inch primary cooking surface with the kind of even, controllable heat that tubular steel burners cannot produce over time. Cast stainless steel holds its shape and maintains consistent gas distribution through years of high-heat cycling. The burners are covered by Videl's Lifetime Limited Warranty -- not because the warranty is a marketing claim, but because Videl builds the burners to the standard where the warranty is credible. Flame Stabilizing Grids and Flame Tamers below the cooking grates distribute heat evenly across the surface and vaporize drippings into flavor. The full-width drip tray spans the entire interior for clean, contained grease management.

 

Above the burners, 9mm stainless steel cooking grate rods retain heat and deliver consistent sear marks with the mass to hold temperature when cold protein hits the surface. The adjustable, removable warming rack adds 207 square inches of secondary cooking area -- enough for a full round of buns, side dishes, or keeping protein warm while the rest of the cook finishes. Total cooking surface is 860 square inches. The double-lined natural convection hood circulates heat continuously, eliminating hot and cold zones and turning the closed grill into a convection cooking chamber for indirect work, roasting, or smoking at temperature.

 

The 36" Videl Series does not include an infrared burner -- that capability is specific to the Gran Fuego 42. What it does include is everything else: Flame Thrower electronic ignition, dual interior lights, a premium hood thermometer, CoolTouch Knobs that stay cool during operation, a CoolGrip handle, and the Quick Release Panel that provides front access to internal components and gas connections without island disassembly. The grill ships ready for Natural Gas. A gas conversion kit is included for Liquid Propane. All gas connections must be made by a licensed gas professional in accordance with local codes and ANSI Z223.1 / NFPA 54. Natural gas supply must be set to 4.0 inches water column; LP to 11 inches water column.

INSTALLATION NOTE: This grill is designed for built-in installation into an outdoor kitchen island. The outdoor kitchen cavity must be adequately vented -- failure to vent can result in fire or explosion. All gas connections must be made by a licensed gas professional. Never use this grill in enclosed areas. Natural Gas: use the supplied NG regulator set to 4.0" water column. Liquid Propane: use an LP regulator set to 11" water column. Perform a soapy water leak test before each use -- never use an open flame to check for gas leaks. Installation must comply with local codes and ANSI Z223.1 / NFPA 54. Failure to follow the installation guide on pages 8-24 of the owner's manual may void all warranties.
